Protecting the privacy of personal information has always been very important to Colliers Pratt McGarry. Having practices and procedures in place to maintain the confidentiality of our clients’ financial and business information is critical, in order to retain the trust and confidence of our current and future clients.
The Canadian government has enacted the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act to provide all Canadians with the right to protect the privacy of their personal information when it is collected, used or disclosed in the course of commercial activities. This federal law establishes principles that provide guidance to businesses on how they should protect the privacy of their clients’ personal information.
Policy Statement
Colliers Pratt McGarry only collects personal information necessary to effectively provide professional and competent real estate services. Personal information means information about an identifiable individual, but does not include information about corporations.
